Originally from Newfoundland, Michelle is now at home in Richmond.
Prior to embarking on a career in law, Michelle’s life found her teaching in a public college in Nain, Labrador, and for five years her voice was heard over the radio airways in Newfoundland as a radio announcer.
Michelle received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a Certificate of International Business Law from Queen’s University, Herstmonceux, UK, and her Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University, Kingston. She completed her articles with Ogilvy Renault in Ottawa and was called to the Bar in 2005. Michelle’s practice, includes real estate, planning and development and estate planning.
Michelle is a Director on the Winchester District Memorial Hospital board.
Michelle and her husband, Brian, have three children, Andrew, Warren, and Ashleigh. Michelle spends her summers enjoying the Rideau Canal on ‘Da Newfie Cabin’.
