ANDREW WILSON, B.A., LL.B., M.B.A. |
Like his father, Andrew started his legal career in Toronto, before eventually coming home to Ottawa to start building a law firm of his own.
Andrew spent the first 9 years of his legal career working with the international law firm of Goodmans LLP in Toronto. Upon his return to Ottawa, Andrew joined KidsFutures Inc., an innovative loyalty program designed to help consumers save for their children’s education, as its Director of Strategic Development. Andrew has been practicing law in Manotick since 2001, where his work focuses on business law, real estate and estate planning matters.
Andrew has lived in Greely, a short distance from our offices in Manotick, since moving home in 2000. Andrew helps manage recreational and athletic facilities as a member of his local homeowner’s association, he regularly coaches his daughter's soccer team and provides assistance to the Ottawa South United Soccer Club, and he plays what he admits to be “a rapidly deteriorating brand of hockey” in the Manotick Over Thirty Men’s Hockey League. Andrew is also an active member of his local church and serves on the board of WaterCan, a Canadian charity which helps build sustainable water and sanitation projects in Africa.
Andrew received his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1990. That same year, he also received a Masters of Business Administration degree from York University, graduating first (Gold Medallist) in his class. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Western Ontario.
Andrew and his wife, Heather, have been married since 1990 and they have two children, Ria and Janet. |
